Enriching Your Prayer Life with Daily Prayers

Most of us have heard how important prayer is to one’s spiritual journey through life. But the pressures of daily living and our busy schedules can often distract us from setting aside some time each day for lifting our hearts and minds to God. Daily prayer is essential to developing a deeper relationship with God and a heart of gratitude. Like any deep relationship, it grows through time spent with the other. If you can make it a habit, daily prayer will become something that draws you, sustains you and gives you a trust and faith beyond how things are going at any given time of your life. Start slow and build on it gradually. It’s not the length of time, but the intention of the heart that matters. As a good friend of mine always says; “Pray as you can, not as you can’t”.

Please check out this article on theologian Timothy Keller’s book, Prayer and find something that may resonate with you and make it your own small steps.
