The Men’s Ministry of St Mary in Simsbury CT held their second annual “Come and See” Men’s Ministry recruiting event last weekend. Eighty-nine men showed up to experience the weekly meeting format and hear team leaders discuss the benefits and blessings of this faith-sharing community. Our program is update weekly and shared with the core leaders and keeps the small group engaged and learning.
St. Mary’s Steady Growth
The event was impactful for the membership which currently has 235 registrants of the ministry’s weekly informational email-blast. ‘We have seen nine new men join in the last week and look forward to reaching out to the other people who attended.’
Hybrid Offerings with a Focus on In Person Participation
The ministry core leaders encourages meeting in person and the weekly meetings are a testament to that. They also offer Zoom participation for those who may be traveling or cannot attend in person for various reasons. The continuity is key and building deep relationships is what we are all about.
