Pastor Tim Keller, the founding pastor of Redeemer Presbyterian Church, passed away in his New York City home, on May 19, 2023 from pancreatic cancer. Tim was a wonderful person, gifted pastor and preacher, and a dedicated husband and father. Tim was also a prolific best-selling author, and we highly recommend a deep dive into his work.
Touched by his Writing
I recently finished his book “The Prodigal God” and it is a wonderful read that helps to expand our understanding of the classic parable “The Prodigal Son”. Keller brings forth a fresh interpretation of the story focusing on different aspects of the character relationships, explaining common misunderstandings, and portraying God as a Father who freely squanders his love on us.
